Role Description:
Andy McMahon - State Farm Agent is seeking a part-time Social Media & Marketing Intern to help strengthen the agency’s online presence, create engaging content, and build connections within the local community.
This opportunity could be an excellent fit for a college student or recent graduate studying marketing, communications, public relations, digital media, business, or a related field. You will have the opportunity to contribute ideas, create real content for a professional business, and develop practical marketing skills.
What You’ll Do:
Andy McMahon - State Farm Agent is seeking a part-time Social Media & Marketing Intern to help strengthen the agency’s online presence, create engaging content, and build connections within the local community.

What You’ll Do:
- Create engaging content for platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and LinkedIn
- Develop graphics, short-form videos, photos, and other digital content
- Assist with planning and maintaining a consistent content calendar
- Write captions that reflect the agency’s personality, values, and brand
- Research current social media trends and recommend new content ideas
- Highlight agency events, team members, community involvement, and educational topics
- Help promote local partnerships, sponsorships, and community events
- Monitor comments and engagement across social media platforms
- Track basic performance metrics, including reach and engagement
- Support additional marketing, branding, and office projects as needed
What We’re Looking For:
- Current college student or recent graduate preferred
- Interest in marketing, social media, communications, public relations, or content creation
- Familiarity with Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and LinkedIn
- Creative mindset and willingness to contribute new ideas
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Organized, dependable, and able to meet deadlines
- Comfortable managing assignments independently
- Experience with Canva, CapCut, Adobe Express, or similar tools is a plus
- Previous professional marketing experience is not required
Compensation: $15.00 per hour
